Psuedo Spring Day
With temps in the 60's and wearing t-shirts I was inspired by such
unseasonable weather to plant a box .
Park in the boat launch area[first left as you approach the park] ,open
dawn till dusk year round.
Go across the rip rap dam and bear left following shoreline trail till
you come to an asphalt road. Take it up to Pine Tree Trail on your
right.When you come to a green rectangle sign follow like it says to the
right. Go past the ampitheater seats that watch the sun rise. At the
triangle,instead of following the green rectangle back,go straight ahead
for your quest.You will see an old stone wall directly on the left of
your trail with 3 barbed wire strands embedded in a tree.Follow the wall
to its end where the rocks hold your secret .
Continue on down the trail and you will be back to where you started.
